Senior Expert Forensics (m/f)

Accounting and Compliance

Our client is one of the world’s leading companies in the field of mechanical engineering for high-tech industries. In order to support the global head office with its international compliance agenda, we are currently seeking an independent and experienced Forensic Accountant.

Responsibilities

  • Introducing forensic accounting in compliance with group requirements in Europe
  • Ensure ethical business practices throughout the European organizations
  • Make sure legal measures, compliance standards, internal regulations, guidelines and policies are constantly met
  • Set up and monitor a well-functioning anti-fraud and compliance management system
  • Perform various process checks, research tasks, background checks and forensics analyses
  • Cooperate and coordinate closely with the global audit team as well as local financial authorities
  • Develop and perform reports to the owner and shareholders

Requirements

  • Degree in Business Administration, Legal Sciences or equivalent
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in audit, accounting, forensic accounting, investigation, litigation services or anti money loundering, preferably in a project environment
  • Excellent IT skills, especially with MS Excel and sourcing systems
  • Very good command of English, German skills advantageous
  • Willingness to travel internationally (up to 50 percent)
  • Confident and self-driven personality with a high level of initiative
  • Analytical and well-structured mindset
  • Intercultural competences
